Peter Tilles: Co-founder

Peter Tilles Expert in College Athletic Recruiting Services and Chances of Getting into College

Peter focuses his college admissions expertise on successfully navigating clients through the ultra-competitive college admissions process. Peter also brings his expertise in athletic recruiting to student athletes looking to pursue college athletics.

In addition to his experience as a college admissions consultant, Peter brings 30 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and senior executive in the financial services and life science industries at Citigroup, UBS and PDI, a pharmaceutical commercialization company where Peter was president of their market research and consulting division. Peter also serves on various for profit and non-profit boards. 

A former ranked tennis player and tennis instructor, Peter works with student athletes to help them successfuly navigate the college admission and athletic recruiting process. A problem solver by nature, Peter is a graduate of Syracuse University and brings a diverse set of strategic and tactical expertise to bear on helping student athletes achieve their academic, athletic and professional goals.

Benjamin Caldarelli: Co-founder


Benjamin has been guiding students and families through the selective college admission process since 2007. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Benjamin earned a Master’s degree in English from Northern Illinois University. Benjamin attended the Harvard College Admission Institute to understand how admissions officers evaluate applicants and how to best help students and families achieve their college admissions goals.

Prior to becoming a college admissions counselor Benjamin taught English for 10 years at the high school and college levels. In addition to his writing and editing skills, Benjamin is a creative and philosophical thinker who is passionate about education. He enjoys working closely with students to develop their potential and optimize their college and future options. As a former ranked junior golfer, he also understands the crucial role athletics can play in a young adult’s life and in the college admissions process.

Curtis “C.J.” Flournoy: College Admissions Counselor

After graduating from Williams College, where he was a student admissions representative, C.J. earned a Diploma in Law at the University of Oxford and his Master’s of Education from Harvard University. While at Harvard, C.J. worked in both the undergraduate admission office, as well as their multiple graduate schools’ selection process. In addition to his working within these admission offices, C.J has also served as an outside application reader for multiple highly selective universities including Yale, Duke, Brandeis, Rice and UT Austin.

C.J. became a college admissions consultant because he enjoys working one-on-one with with students and their families to find the best-fit college. In a career that has included classroom teaching and working for the US Dept. of State, according to him, it is “the most rewarding” job he has held. C.J. routinely works with domestic students, but is also a specialist in international admissions.

Jeff Schneider: College Admissions Counselor

With a Master’s degree in education and training from the UC San Diego College Counseling Certificate Program, Jeff believes in listening closely to students and their families to help create a focused, collaborative approach to setting and achieving goals throughout the college admission process. Prior to becoming a college admissions counselor Jeff coached high school lacrosse and ice hockey.  As a former member of the National Association of Athletic Academic Advisors, he fully understands the unique considerations, pressures, and requirements that face prospective collegiate athletes.

Jessica Applestone

Trained at UCLA and Swarthmore College to understand how highly selective colleges evaluate applicants, Jessica is skilled at helping students best position themselves to admissions committees.  Over the last 4 years she has successfully navigated dozens of students through the competitive application process at the most selective schools in the country.  

Jessica was originally inspired to become a college counselor by her own transformative experience working with a trusted advisor during high school. She believes the key to success in admissions, and life, is identifying dreams, taking them seriously and strategically breaking them down in to manageable goals. Additionally, Jessica brings over a decade of experience as a journalist and entrepreneur to her passion for helping students discover and unleash their potential.

A graduate of Hampshire College, Jessica also specializes in working with artists, filmmakers, and musicians developing portfolios for submission, as well as students with learning differences. Beyond sharing her love of writing, intellectual vitality, and commitment to sustainable business practices, she understands the college admissions process is often a stressful and overwhelming time for both parents and students. She strives to transform frustration and confusion into comfort and competence. When not counseling students, Jessica’s ideal day is a good meal with friends after a long hike in the Catskills. 

Geraldine Diaz

With a double major in sociology and Mandarin from Mount Holyoke College, Geraldine went on to earn a certificate in Intermediate Chinese Language from the Beijing Language and Culture University (北京语言大学). She also received a Master’s degree at Harvard University where her research focused on how Ivy League and other highly selective colleges in the US make admissions decisions.

Prior to joining Princeton College Consulting, Geraldine spent four years as an independent counselor in New York City providing guidance on how students could develop into young women and men that will be competitive applicants to the most selective colleges. Geraldine feels fortunate to have had the benefit of mentors that made a difference in her life and is passionate about providing the same type of mentorship to her clients throughout the admission process.

Geraldine has helped domestic high school students earn national recognition in extra-curricular pursuits and prestigious college scholarships.  Geraldine also specializes in guiding international students through the US college admissions process as well as assisting younger students with their selection of, and application to, private day and boarding secondary schools. While she continues to serve as an alumni interviewer for Mount Holyoke and mentor for Harvard undergraduates, in her spare time Geraldine enjoys enjoys yoga and meeting up with friends for a strong cup of coffee.
