Peter focuses his college admissions expertise on successfully navigating clients through the ultra-competitive college admissions process. Peter also brings his expertise in athletic recruiting to student athletes looking to pursue college athletics.
In addition to his experience as a college admissions consultant, Peter brings 30 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and senior executive in the financial services and life science industries at Citigroup, UBS and PDI, a pharmaceutical commercialization company where Peter was president of their market research and consulting division. Peter also serves on various for profit and non-profit boards.
A former ranked tennis player and tennis instructor, Peter works with student athletes to help them successfuly navigate the college admission and athletic recruiting process. A problem solver by nature, Peter is a graduate of Syracuse University and brings a diverse set of strategic and tactical expertise to bear on helping student athletes achieve their academic, athletic and professional goals.
Benjamin has been guiding students and families through the selective college admission process since 2007. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Benjamin earned a Master’s degree in English from Northern Illinois University. Benjamin attended the Harvard College Admission Institute to understand how admissions officers evaluate applicants and how to best help students and families achieve their college admissions goals.
Prior to becoming a college admissions counselor Benjamin taught English for 10 years at the high school and college levels. In addition to his writing and editing skills, Benjamin is a creative and philosophical thinker who is passionate about education. He enjoys working closely with students to develop their potential and optimize their college and future options. As a former ranked junior golfer, he also understands the crucial role athletics can play in a young adult’s life and in the college admissions process.
After graduating from Williams College, where he was a student admissions representative, C.J. earned a Diploma in Law at the University of Oxford and his Master’s of Education from Harvard University. While at Harvard, C.J. worked in both the undergraduate admission office, as well as their multiple graduate schools’ selection process. In addition to his working within these admission offices, C.J has also served as an outside application reader for multiple highly selective universities including Yale, Duke, Brandeis, Rice and UT Austin.
C.J. became a college admissions consultant because he enjoys working one-on-one with with students and their families to find the best-fit college. In a career that has included classroom teaching and working for the US Dept. of State, according to him, it is “the most rewarding” job he has held. C.J. routinely works with domestic students, but is also a specialist in international admissions.
Emily earned a B.A. from Duke, an M.A. in Higher Education from Columbia and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from New York University. She also received training in College Counseling through the University of California- Los Angeles and formerly conducted alumni admissions interviews for Duke.
Additonally, Emily has worked as an administrator at Columbia University doing career counseling for undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni. She has also served as a career consultant for NYU's Stern School of Business. Emily brings 8+ years of experience as a private admissions counselor to bear on her work guiding students and families through an often complicated and stressful process.
She understands that the college exploration process is an individual one. Each client brings a unique set of experiences, skill-sets, personal and academic aspirations, and expectations. She aims to honor this uniqueness and individualized approach for each client.
With a Master’s degree in education and training from the UC San Diego College Counseling Certificate Program, Jeff believes in listening closely to students and their families to help create a focused, collaborative approach to setting and achieving goals throughout the college admission process. Prior to becoming a college admissions counselor Jeff coached high school lacrosse and ice hockey. As a former member of the National Association of Athletic Academic Advisors, he fully understands the unique considerations, pressures, and requirements that face prospective collegiate athletes.
Jordan Anderer became a college admission consultant after graduating from UCLA with a degree in Sociology and earning her Master's degree in Education from King's College London. During her time at UCLA, Jordan was a member of the Gymnastics team. Before college, Jordan was a level 10 gymnast recruited by many Division I colleges giving her unique insight into the collegiate recruitment process. Additionally, Jordan is an accomplished pianist recognized by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music and has many years of experience in competitive equestrian. It is with her experience and infectious can-do attitude that Jordan guides students through the college admissions and recruitment process.
